RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for shopping at Gadgix SA. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

Returns

In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you have the right to return products purchased from www.gadgixsa.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them
  • Items must be in their original packaging with all tags attached
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
  • Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (earphones, personal care items, etc.)

How to Initiate a Return:

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return

  3. We will provide you with return instructions 

Return Shipping:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Gadgix SA is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error)

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, contact us at gadgixglobal@gmail.com or WhatsApp 060 588 9598.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a faulty or damaged item:

  • Contact us immediately with photos of the damage
  • We will arrange collection at no cost to you or provide a prepaid return label
  • You will receive a full refund or replacement, including original shipping costs

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or digital products
  • Items marked as "Final Sale"
  • Opened hygiene products

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank
  3. If you've done both and still haven't received your refund, contact us at gadgixglobal@gmail.com

Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act. You have the right to return defective goods within 6 months of purchase for repair, replacement, or refund.
